MONI MADE
My creative journey began with a name—one that quickly evolved into an identity. What started in a high school art studio as an exploration of graffiti and self-expression became the foundation of my brand, Moni Made.
Rooted in legacy, the name carries the influence of my father, Kevin, who encouraged me to embrace my calling with intention and pride. Inspired by iconic figures who transformed their names into declarations of purpose, Moni Made is both a statement and a signature—when you see the mark, you know it was created with vision.
The double “M” logo represents more than my initials; it is a tribute to my grandmother, Mrs. Monica Scarlett, and the generational story I carry forward. My work is grounded in the beauty and complexity of Black identity—honoring a narrative that holds both struggle and triumph, resilience and elegance.
Black, as both color and concept, is central to my design philosophy. It is timeless and foundational—symbolizing creation, power, and depth.
Through my work, I explore storytelling as a form of legacy. Each piece reflects a commitment to community, culture, and continuity—designing not only for the present, but for what is carried forward.
This is more than fashion. This is lineage.
This is Moni Made. Welcome to my imagination.
